Ascentia

Ascentia was a Correan research facility before the fall of I'noc and Rannoc. It was built to research, and ultimately test, a super-soldier program that would give the Correans a fighting chance against the overwhelming numbers of humans, dwarves, and elves created by the twin gods. A'tama, the first test subject, went mad from the process and was ultimately sealed within, along with the 12 Correan scientists who sacrificed themselves to lock A'tama away from the world. The facility was recently unsealed by Avi, and the beastly A'tama was slain.
