As an bonus extra we want the students to make a main course. Choosing puff or shortcrust pastry, sausage meat and asking at home about extras to make it better.
For example,
Onions, stuffing, paprika, herbs, apple, sun dried tomatoes. (dry ingredients).
Don't forget egg or milk to wash the pastry.
Veggie Options
I am a meat eater so will bow to your better judgement of what will fit in, cheese, onion, peppers, potatoes, spinach etc. Please bare in mind I am the great unwashed as far as it comes to veggie cuisine so make sure your child has a clue. For me the height of food sophistication is using a knife and fork.
