Acabamos de llegar a Ribadeo y tomar posesión de nuestra habitación en el Parador. El viaje muy bueno y la habitación que ocupamos excelente (entre el salón, el dormitorio, vestidor y los dos baños de que dispone es mayor que algunos pisos). Además tenemos una galería de unos 10 metros, con unas vistas a la ría del Eo, y a los pueblos de Figueras y Castropol impresionante. El Parador está al completo, con lo esperamos una Nochevieja muy animada. Os llamaremos a las uvas, a este teléfono, aunque vosotros las tomaréis una hora más tarde.
Os mando una foto que acabo de tomar desde nuestra habitación que espero os guste.

Tenemos dos noticias: Ya está confirmado el Lagar para celebrar la espicha el 28/03. La hora la hemos establecido entre las 14:30 a las 15:00 que creo es adecuada. ¿Qué opináis vosotros? Nos queda concretar el número de asistentes (en principio he comentado que podríamos ser entre 20 a 25), que espero me confirmes antes del próximo viernes. También me queda por definir el menú y algún otro detalle. La otra noticia es que podremos disponer del piso anexo al nuestro, lo que nos proporcionará la máxima comodidad (tendréis una habitación con una gran cama para vosotros y las nenas usarán su propia habitación).
Esperamos que os vayáis recuperando de la gripe. Aunque a nosotros aún no nos ha afectado, en Oviedo los servicios médicos están desbordados.

Hemos sido objeto de un atraco administrativo, que es el atraco más lamentable que se puede sufrir. Me temo que, para no seguir tirando más dinero y perder absurdamente más tiempo, tendremos que recoger la documentación y olvidarse del tema, así que, cuando puedas, me mandas la autorización preceptiva y recogeré el documento. Esperemos que no nos depare más sorpresas.

Imposible abrir los archivos. No tienes que adjuntar ningún documento de autorización en el mail, sólo indicar la autorización en el propio texto del correo, incorporando la copia de tu DNI, como si fuera una fotografía. Tenemos hasta el día 22 como fecha máxima para retirar el documento.

preocupada por la caída de la red eléctrica que habéis tenido ayer. Supongo que os habrán restablecido pronto el servicio y no hayáis tenido problemas mayores.
¿Cómo ha visto Ali, en principio, los apuntes de trigonometria? ¿Le han parecido útiles para ella? ¿Le son entendibles?

We don't have good news. The doctor has said that Mum needs to take antibiotics for five days, and I have blood tests that indicate may have prostate problems. At this time, I hope appointment for the specialist in Urología.

Hay un problema muy importante y, para ello, tengo que comunicar en español.
El banco emisor del cheque, o sea, vuestro banco, no ha aceptado vuestro talón y ha procedido a su devolución, lo que, a su vez, ha provocado la anulación de la transferencia de devolución que se había hecho desde la Caja Rural.
Todo esto hace que

En cuanto lo del cheque estamos esperando su devolución a la Caja Rural de Asturias por lo que no parece posible que el banco en Inglaterra lo haya hecho efectivo. Hay que asegurarse de eso. De momento aquí se ha anulado la operación.

A pesar de que me habéis dicho que ibais a mirar como estaba el asunto del cheque, lo cierto es que, pasados 8 días, no habéis dado ninguna contestación al respecto.
Hoy me confirman que el cheque ha sido devuelto y se encuentra ya en La Caja Rural para que sea recogido por su cliente. Esto acredita que vuestra deuda, por la espicha que habéis encargado, está sin pagar y, como es lógico, el propietario del lagar pide que se solucione el problema.
Como creo que no debo seguir de intermediario para la solución de este enojoso asunto, estimo oportuno que sea el propio lagarero (Miguel) quien se ponga en contacto con vosotros, vía mail, para que os informe de la situación y os proponga la forma de pago más oportuna.
Espero, y deseo, que deis la talla en este asunto y demostreis la suficiente responsabilidad para darle una rápida solución, sin más demora.

No voy a perder ni un minuto en recordarle la vergonzosa historia que está tejiendo en torno a la deuda que tiene pendiente con el Lagar de Juanin (Tiñana ), donde, el día 28 del pasado mes de marzo, celebró la espicha que pretendía ser su presentación en familia y que, a la postre, va a terminar por revelarnos a todos la clase de persona con la que hemos estado tratando. Nos ha mentido asegurando que se había pagado el cheque, posteriormente se escudó torticeramente en su familia para no dar explicaciones, y, al final, ni siquiera le quedó un mínimo de honradez para responder a los sucesivos requerimientos de pago que directamente le ha hecho el dueño del Lagar, dando la callada por respuesta.
No es fácil encontrar precedentes a un comportamiento tan indigno en alguien que presume de ser una persona de bien. Invitar a familiares y amigos a una celebración con la premeditada intención de no pagar la cuenta, perpetrando una estafa, es mezquino y miserable, defrauda la confianza de todos y nos avergüenza con su conducta.
Si realmente quiere a su familia, de la que hace gala de ser su cabeza, evite que su desprestigio les afecte. Manténgalas al margen, no las utilice como escudo ni las haga cómplices de su felonía. Póngase inmediatamente en contacto con el lagarero (Miguel), pida disculpas por su comportamiento, acuerde con él una forma de pago y cumpla con su deber. Sólo así podrá salvar, aunque sea en parte, su honor; pero, ¡hágalo ya! Seguro que evitará males mayores.

Lo único que sentimos todos es que su vergüenza y su miseria alcance a su familia, a la que estamos seguros que no merece, y la que, desgraciadamente, no deberá sentirse muy orgullosa de quien se autoproclama ser su cabeza.
Aunque los términos de ética y moral, y cualquier otro que represente honradez y estima personal, estoy seguro que no conoce, le queremos dar una última lección haciéndonos cargo de la cuenta que usted no ha pagado, para que, aunque no podamos quitarle la vitola de estafador, nadie nos pueda meter en su mismo saco y podamos acudir al Llagar con la cabeza bien alta al haber pagado todo lo que hemos consumido, incluso también lo suyo, cosa que usted no podrá hacer jamás.
Aunque sé que su carencia de escrúpulos no le hará sentir ningún ataque de pudor por ello, le adjunto documentos acreditativos, tanto de la deuda que dejó impagada, como del certificado que confirma que ha sido saldada por aportación de una parte de los invitados al citado evento.
P.S. Por cierto, ahora que ya entiendo porqué me mandó el irrespetuoso mail, posterior a su estancia en nuestra casa, acabo de responderle, por el mismo medio, punto por punto, a cada una de sus falsedades e impertinentes provocaciones que tan miserablemente nos ha hecho.
