Measuring the Impact of Shared Resources

The Southeastern Association of Shared Resources (SEASR | seasr.abrf.org) is an official chapter of the Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities (ABRF). SEASR provides a forum for core directors, scientists, and technical staff from the Southeastern Region of the US to meet, discuss, and collaborate on the many issues and ideas that are common to core facilities (scientific facilities or shared resources).

The fifth annual meeting of SEASR was held at the Sheraton Tampa Riverwalk Hotel. in Tampa, FL 33602 from June 7 through 9, 2017. I, as a first year Treasurer for the organization was involved in several stage of the planning and executing the event. I also was one of facilitator for a Breakout Session titled "Measuring the Impact of the Shared Resources". The meeting went very well and was attended by ~100 people.
