2009 Diversity Social Work Practice

Speak at Social Work Diversity & Practice Class

I along with representatives from Japan, Thailand, and Philippines were invited to speak at an undergraduate Bachelor's in Social Works program about Diversity, Social Work, & Practice class of Dr. Keithen V. Mathis today afternoon. I first spoke for 15 minutes from the front of the class with the aid of a Power Point presentation shown below. I didn't take questions except for those during the presentation. Then speakers from Japan, Thailand, and Philippines spoke. There were about 30 kids in the class. They were all attentive and engaged.

I gave the presentation in Power Point shown above for the class. Then representative from Japan, Thailand, and Philippines spoke. After that ACT Chairman spoke about ACT. Then we took questions from the audience.
