What: Client required focus on strategic initiatives, to include business as well as proactive technology innovation.

The Challenge: The clients existing IT Outsourcing contract needed to be analyzed and compared to industry best practices. This included a hard look at every service area to ensure all required  services aligned with the clients future needs.     

The Solution: Developed assessment of technologies included in existing contract and compared those to innovative technologies available in the marketplace.  Focus included: current baseline environment, tactical deployments (2 years), strategic direction (5 years), technologies slated for retirement, mainstream acceptable standards that could be reused, technologies to be contained (limited investment), and emerging technologies.

The Result: Created comprehensive Information Technology Innovation report that included a detailed mapping between all contract technologies and the following categories: systems management, security, platforms and storage, network and telecommunications, integration, data, application and collaboration.  Report provided client with opportunities to improve and strengthen key business objectives.
