What: Client required a Human Capital Management (HCM) application that unified Human Resources and Talent Management into a single system-of-record after spin-off from parent company.
The Challenge: Client's existing system had no view of the global workforce or contingent workers. No mobile capabilities existed and a new solution was need to be stood up quickly.
The Solution: A new Software as a Service (SaaS) application (Workday) was selected and implemented in two phases. The solution provided a single system of record for all HR functions across the globe.
The Result: Deployed globally with 130 integrations in 7 months. A 21% increase of active employees were added to the service with a 150% expansion of the service offering to employees outside the U.S. Human Resource (HR) staff were trained on the new system and an additional 24% visibility was added to the organization's supervisory structures. A more effective mobile workforce was added and the solution complied with local regulations and data privacy requirements.
