What: To increase efficiency in line with Congressional and Department of Defense (DoD) objectives NSHS Oakland was selected as unnecessary DoD and ordered to close in 1993 BRAC round.

The Challenge: The Organization downsized after congressional mandates to reduce forces. 

The Solution: Managing all aspects of company business, coordinating staff departures during the final six months, ensuring all equipment and supplies were transferred, and preparing the facility for transition with all site closure requirements fulfilled.

The Result: Historical building closure completed with dignity and dedication for the thousands of students educated throughout the years. All terms and conditions of closure met, delivering the building and property for alternate community uses.
