Notes: Our remote showings setup was almost the same as last Saturday: video shared from David’s Ubuntu desktop via Zoom, audio chat handled by Discord on Brian’s iPhone. The main difference was that we used Alan’s Jambox via Bluetooth as the speaker and microphone for the voice chat. That seemed to work decently, but we had to put some sound baffling (David’s jacket) between the Jambox and the computer speakers so that Adam didn’t pick up the show’s audio from 2 places.
We also tried streaming a video from Alan's laptop at the end of the evening via Zoom - that had never worked either at his place or at Gene's. But it worked just fine at David's. David's internet speeds don't appear to be better than the ones at Alan's (as shown by speed tests), but he is listed as coming from Spectrum Business - there may be some sort of traffic prioritization or quality of service difference.
