Notes: We all ended up cutting it a bit close arriving to the movie, but we didn’t miss much beyond the trailers. For next time at the AMC Santa Anita, it’s worth going around the building from the outside and coming in the entrance nearest the AMC, rather than trying to enter through another store and navigate the inside of the mall to get to the AMC.
At any rate, we did manage to start showings at David’s almost exactly at 5:30. After discussion, we decided we didn’t need to see episode 4 of FMA Brotherhood, and went on to watch episodes 5-6.
Funimation didn’t seem up to show up A3, so we sampled Natsunagu (which was strange enough that we watched all 3 episodes Alan had brought), followed by Hentatsu episode 1. Since that seemed to be premise-trolling us, David wanted nothing to do with it. We moved on to Tenkha Hyakken: Meiji-Kanye e Youkoso! (Fs), which is apparently about Meiji-ere sword girls (I.e. so word who are girls)...in maid outfits. The short shows were intent on making no sense, so we gave up and went to Promare: Lio Hen (fs).
