Notes: We got a late start. A very late start - about 2 episodes worth. So we skipped Patlabor (which isn't streaming), though we did watch macross 7 episode 1 - we'd watched it once in the club in the last couple years. We also decided to skip Dororo, and swapped out the sampler for some that seemed a bit more niche/questionable:
Hensuki: Are You Willing to Fall in Love With a Pervert, As Long As She`s a Cutie? (Funi) - bad unless you NEED your harem fix
The Ones Within (Funi, Hulu) - bad
Ensemble Stars (Funi) - totally not our thing; we bailed on it just a few minutes in (looks like an otome reverse harem in a boys idol school)
Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks? (CR, VRV, Funi) - this show could do with less of the protagonist. It does have its good moments.
Oh, one more thing: Gene's going to Japan September 24 - October 8.
