Alan tried streaming tonight, and it seemed to work OK. Aside from Funimation insisting that his account payment hadn’t gone through (PayPal disagreed), and that Super Cub wasn’t available in his territory…logging out allowed him to get past that error, and no commercials played during the stream.
Alan had thought the sampler was double-length, but in fact the first 2 episodes had just debuted at the same time. Just as well - we were running close enough on time even with bailing just before the end of the first episode (for Idaten's completely gratuitous sexual assault scene - ugh).

Notes: all of us were remote tonight (except for Stevezilla at Gene's) - David was off playing Magic, and Alan had been sick Wednesday night and (despite getting a negative result on the PCR test) was playing it safe, at least for Friday. Adam couldn’t successfully stream and Gene wasn’t set up to do so and Brian wasn’t available at start, so Adam started streaming right around when Brian showed up (at around 7).
Adam wasn’t able to stream Super Cub because Funimation said it wasn’t available in his country, so we skipped to Drug Store in Another World. Then he wasn’t able to load Crunchyroll pages for Attack on Titan and Strike the Blood - presumably Crunchyroll doesn’t have those for Israel - so we got Gene to try streaming. We started with The Heike Story (Arthur logged on right at the beginning to mention he’d felt an earthquake at his place; Brian agreed). Then break. Gene seemed to be able to hear some folks over the audio chat, but not Alan (even though others could hear Alan…)
After break we resumed with Super Cub (still being streamed by Gene). We watched Drug Store in Another World and Heike and Wonder Egg Priority, and skipped the other samplers and Attack on Titan for the night.
