Strawberry Avalanche
It hasn't been nearly enough for an avalanche, but the snow these past few days has been exhilarating. When I walked outside and took a deep breath of the crisp winter air it was like a wake up call to get inside the house as fast as I can. I guess God does have a sense of humor, making us waddle around in the cold with our utterly ridiculous, thick winter jackets and gloves. I love the snow, it fills the earth with variety and "pazzaz". It gives us so many things to do outside like having snowball fights, sledding, and building snowmen. But not for me. That's why I'm sitting here huddled in my favorite blanket next to a heater.
