I love the feeling when I rush through the thorns and the leaves that are scattered around me, in the woods. Since my older sister, Nicole is at EVMS medical school studying for her masters, so we are watching her dog, Abe for a few days. While Abe was at our house I decided to take him on some trails. The trails are right behind TCC in Chesapeake. Abe decided that he would go in front of me, and lead me through the thorns and tangled bushes. The trail ends behind the theater stage so from there I would run through the field back home.
I knew that the end of the trail was up ahead but I wasn’t expected this. I was crunching through the leaves when I looked up and saw the security guard strolled by the end of the trail. Panicking a lot I couldn’t think of any thing to do but to follow Abe back to the beginning of the trail. Running as fast as I can in rain boots, I tripped and managed to run through almost every thorn bush there. Finally, after getting lost through the thorns and almost having a heart attack, Abe and I made it out alive. Once we caught our breath I made up my mind to run through the field and sprint to the forest, which is another trail. When running through forest I was Thanking God when I Could see my house through the trees. When I reached the back porch steps of the house it toke a little while to get my breath back again.
Now when ever I go back on the trails I make sure that the security guard is not there so I don’t flip out again like last time.
