Dear Alexis,
Hi! How have you been doing? I haven’t seen you in so long! Ever since we moved I have been wishing we were still in Virginia. It’s so cold in New York. It snowed ten inches the day our flight arrived and all the snow is still on the ground. Has it snowed where you are? I wish we could have built a snowman together! Our dog, Baillie did not like the flight up here, she won’t even get in the car now. The poor little thing is so scared! I tried to convince her to come outside yesterday and she wouldn’t. She’s really unsure of the snow. I’m hoping that my family and I can come to your house this summer and stay for a week or two! It would be so much fun! School is going well; I’ve already made some new friends luckily. It always so noisy in New York and you can’t see the stars as much as you can in Virginia because of all the street lights. There are tons of taxies and sky scrapers too. What they say is true; it really is a concrete jungle. Please write me back soon! I would hate to not hear from you. Tell me how Allie is doing to.
Love,
Emmy
