I`ll be Back Again Someday
I began with an idea, when the snow came down.
When the frost on the trees became ice on the ground,
Four children gathered in the front of a yard to play,
Rolling slush in snow, they made me that way.
The balls weren`t completely round, but I didn`t care,
Two chestnuts for eyes and a red cap that I wear.
No mouth, no nose, I`m art, some would say
But everyone knows what happened yesterday.
The sun came out as the snowing ceased,
And I felt the temperature rising with ease.
In the yard, there I stood
Without protection not even a hood
As I deformed, the cap and chestnuts fell down
Exposing my white snowy crown.
I remember the sun the last seconds of ice
I could still feel the warmth and it wasn`t very nice
I am water now I`m no longer cold
But it has been recently foretold
I will be back again even if you don`t know
I will be sure to stop by and say hello.
