Welcome to the Teaching Demonstration and Exchange at the Chef's Academy of the Harrison College of the 2017 Taiwanese Culinary Arts Tour.  This afternoon's program is teaching and demonstration to the students and faculty members of the Chef's academy.  There will be a lot of opportunities at the academy  to interact with our gold medalist master chefs Aaron Huang and Chiwen Chen.  They will be assisted by the local foodies from NC Taiwanese Culture Arts.  

Master Chef Arron Huang is the executive chef of Taipei Nong-Lai Restaurant, a 30-year old traditional Taiwanese cuisine restaurant that always have a long waiting line if you don't have a reservation.  Arron has won numerous awards and is also a well-know celebrity chef favorite of cooking shows on TV.   Being young and talented, he also teaches in culinary arts schools, judges in international 

cooking contests, chairs culinary professional associations, and many more.  Beyond traditional Taiwanese dishes he creates trending cuisines using universal ingredients such as seafood, chicken, pork, steak, and lobsters that only seeing is believing.  His assistant Chiwen is a National Young Prospect Medalist recipient from Taiwan and also teaches in culinary arts schools, has won many awards, and has great insights especially in Dim-Sum/Horus d'oeuvres and bakeries.
