It's not like I spend all my time looking at how great a technology streaming Internet Radio will be, but it seems as though that all the web news and bloggers have great things to say about it. Take this site next
Mark Ramsey surveys
1. 2/3 of in-car radio listeners would opt for Internet Radio because they can listen to websites from all over the world (how many car radio listeners are there?)
2. 61% would rather have a true-blue in-dash Internet Radio as opposed to using mobile phone apps via a docking station in the car
and the passage that gets me all motivated
"My question paints the picture of an inevitable integration and personalization of the car dashboard where Internet-enabled audio is as easy and convenient and accessible as the over-the-air broadcasts which currently dominate the in-car experience."
and finally
"And if I were you I’d make sure I’m a part of it."
Yo dude, I am I am!
The inevitability of it all. Even if in-dash Internet Radio as a standalone app doesn't take off, the Internet will eventually get into cars IN WHICH CASE the ability to operate it with minimum interaction becomes a necessity.
