The COVID Lessons Survey
... and our social networks
... and our social networks
During November 2020 an online poll COVID Lessons collected local views on what we have learned from COVID. The survey asked local people across the 3 census areas in North Muskham (OAs 386, 387, 388) how COVID changes had affected 'what we do', 'belong to' and 'experience' change, learning socially as we do.
One striking COVID 'what we do' change concerns our 'online' involvement, whilst an important 'experience' aspect is the assumed impact of social isolation on our wellbeing. A particular objective of the survey has been to inform efforts to support local volunteering in the post-COVID future. We'll probably need more of it - fortunately most research shows everybody - volunteers and recipients- gets a lot out volunteering.
