The new footpath runs from A-B-C inside the fields (apart from at the level crossing) to avoid the fast traffic, and then south along the dyke towards the old BT8 route at D ...
At D the new path rejoins the old BT8 (the old path visible across the field towards its original footpath crossing of the ECML).
