Significantly more women have participated in the COVID Lessons survey than men, even though there is no equivalent variation in the numbers of men and women in the village population.

The sex-age profiles shown below are normalised against the total numbers of each sex to have responded - so, 40% of all the men that responded came from the 70-74 age group, whilst 30% of the women came from the 65-69 group. It's notable that younger women have responded to the survey, whilst younger men have not.
From a research point of view, one most valuable aspect of the data profile so far is the link that has emerged with the earlier B60 research.
A substantial proportion of the CL (COVID Lessons) participants had already participated in the 2015/2016 Beyond 60 study. This enables the COVID changes to be set in the context of B60 questions that it would have been helpful to raise in the COVID Lessons questionnaire, but for which there was no space.
