Manage accounting, project, and office tasks for this mult-million dollar company. Oversee all daily operations of the office, including but not limited to:
Manage all accounting transactions, including advising the President of the financial situation and preparing for tax returns.
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Ensure timely bank payments
Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
Audit financial transactions and documents
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
Comply with financial policies and regulations
Ensure timely collections of accounts receivable.
Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
Supervise administrative staff and divide responsibilities to ensure performance
Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments, etc., for the work crews in their locations
Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages, etc.)
Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
Prepare bid documents and collect information so the estimators can price, including material pricing, understand the bid information, and analyze the current situation for the project.
