Reflection on the Goals met during the 3 year re-certification cycle.
Through my observation, I learned how to use the students strengths to help them learn. By strategically grouping students, a teacher can use differentiation to help students increase their ability in math at their level and keep the class together as a group. I also saw students sharing what they learned and explaining how they got their answer, not realizing that they were grouped by ability. This strategic plan helped the students gain confidence in their ability, no matter their level of learning.
My community work and online course taught me the importance of staying involved in the school system, not just as a parent, but as a taxpayer and concerned citizen. It is important for all voters to understand how the system works and to ask questions when they are concerned about the direction of the district.
I plan on continuing my community work to make sure our district provides the best possible eduction for my own children. This work also provides me with the opportunity to stay updated on the latest laws and requirements for all subject areas.
