Professional Development Reflection

This profession development allowed me to accomplish the following competencies for my Alternate IV Plan:

  • Anger and Disruption - High-Risk, Socially Challenging Students and Our Responses to Their Difficult Behaviors Presenter: Maxine Mosley, Manchester School District

In this workshop, we will discuss the purpose of difficult behaviors displayed by students, our responses to these behaviors, and how to best assist these students to make changes. Every behavior has a purpose, how do you determine what that is? What do you need to do your job more effectively? How do we really help students with difficult and resistant behaviors to become more successful academically and socially? Join Maxine Mosley, school counselor and NEA trainer to determine what is happening, why it is happening and how to make a positive impact with your most challenging children and youth. K-12

  • Classroom Management Strategies - A-1 Refining Your Classroom Management Skills (K-12), Jared Cassedy & Dana Foulds, NEA-NH New Teacher Committee
