Technology Coordinator (September 2001 – September 2003)

  • Became district’s first Technology Coordinator.
  • Unified technology decisions for district and SAU.
  • Formed Technology Committee involving teachers and administration in the decision making process to ensure technology usage will be well received.
  • Implemented and Installed servers for student and faculty use.
  • Maintained technology by repairing in house and creating a course at the high school geared towards teaching students’ computer repair and networking. Under the guidance of the computer technology teacher, over saw four students who were responsible for the maintenance of the high school’s computer network. Required students to journal about experience and created tests to evaluate knowledge of networking and computer maintenance.

PowerSchool Administrator (September 2001 – September 2003)

  • Educated faculty at all three schools in using PowerSchool and PowerGrade to its fullest capabilities
  • Maintained PowerSchool and PowerGrade database – process upgrades and redo existing database so the information stored was correct and consistent
  • Customized PowerSchool for the District’s individual needs.
  • Created and updated reports for faculty use

Distance Learning Coordinator (September 2001 – September 2003)

  • Developed Distance Learning Plan for the Haverhill Cooperative School District.
  • Worked with North Country Education Services (NCES) and other area schools to use equipment to share classes, workshops and other events.
  • Successfully promoted use of Distance Learning as alternative lesson for all classrooms.
  • Assisted Computer Science Teacher in educating students in the use of the Distance Learning equipment.
  • Taught responsible students to monitor Distance Learning Classroom during classes and workshops.
  • Developed the leading distance learning center in the state.
