Historic England states: "Cottage. Late C18 (?). Timber framed, part exposed, and rendered. Long straw thatch roof and ridge stack, painted. Two storeys. Three small modern wood casements at both ground and first floors. Gabled and thatched modern porch. Exposed framing at first floor has slender upward bracing."
According to the 1826 Original Enclosure Award this property was owned by G. Wright.

It comprises a two-storey timber framed cottage under a longstraw thatch roof, with part of the timber frame exposed at first floor level. The house is Grade II Listed from 3rd September 1986 and dates from the late C18. An undated post-WWII postcard indicates the occupier to be Mrs G. Henderson.
