Description
This cottage was opposite The Chequers, probably C18, single-storeyed with attic, framed and plastered, with thatched roof, halfhipped to the South, and hipped to the North, the fourth room being little more than a narrow outshut under the lower end of the hip. A planning application was made in 1971 to demolish the cottage which was approved.
