1841 Census

A copy of the 1841 Census is attached. The details have been added to the People page where they can be searched. More analysis is to be added here later.

According to the census pages, properties appear to have been visited in this order:

• Rectory;

• Rectory Farm;

• Mill Hill (is this Mill Road which was previously called Mill Hill, see eg 1950 map);

• Brook Street;

• Brook Farm;

• Gransden Lane (meaning Little Gransden Lane or Great Gransden Road, later becoming Primrose Hill);

• Church Street;

• Church Lane;

• Lt. Gransden Leys;

• High Street (the southern end of Main Road);

• Crow End;

• Gransden Lodge; and

• Fuller's Hill Farm.
