The crosswing has at first floor a four light horizontal sliding sash with small panes divided by a mullion. Inside: The room at the south end has an inglenook hearth and quartered ceiling with broach and run out stops. The wing to the north, possibly a parlour, has the abutting inglenook now blocked. C18 fireplace with eared architrave and moulded cornice."

In the 1826 Original Enclosure Award this property is described as belonging to Lincoln's Heirs.

A pair of cottages that once formed a single C17 dwelling. The principal ground floor room at the South-East end has a ceiling divided into four panels by a stop-chamfered cross beam with axial secondaries having broach stops except at the North-West end against the chimney. The adjoining room has a stop-chamfered axial beam. The cottages are two-storey and timber framed with a roughcast render finish all under a steeply pitched roof that is now covered in asbestos cement slates. No 84 is contained in a cross wing to the original house that has also been extended at the south-east end (No 82) under a slate roof. Significant redevelopment in 2010 to the garages in the garden to convert them to accommodation.
