Interior: Parlour at west end to the road has a C19 hearth added possibly when the cottage was subdivided. An original newel staircase leads off the parlour. The kitchen has an inglenook hearth. The bread oven openings are now blocked. The narrower service bay retains its original partition between pantry and scullery. A later staircase has been inserted. Framing has both upward and downward wall bracing and stop chamfered main beams."

This is a detached timber framed dwelling. The property is single-storey with attic rooms under a reed-thatch roof, with one eyebrow dormer window on the south side. The dwelling is set gable end onto the road and has roughcast render over the timber frame. Axial beams on either side of the chimney have elaborate stops. A bread oven North of the chimney was covered by an extension of the main roof supported on two posts. Planning permission for vehicle access was granted in 1951.
