Model Farm

Description

Model Farm was built in 1860 and matches its name with a tidy use of contrasting red and grey brick on the house and out-buildings.

The agricultural prosperity of the mid 19th century encouraged the Quintins to consolidate their property c.1860 into three large farms, Fuller's Hill, Gransden Lodge, and the newly erected Model farm, which covered 690 acres in the parish and 825 acres altogether.
