Description
In 1826 there was a different large house in a slightly different position on a plot owned by Lincoln's Heirs. This house was originally two four-roomed houses dating from 1845 until about 1933 when it was made into one house. It is set in large grounds overlooking Main Road. The house is built of gault brick. A covered veranda was added in 1910. The greenhouse was taken down in 1950. It currently has interlocking concrete tiles to its roof, but would originally have been covered in Welsh slate.
The house was sold in 2010 and has subsequently been subject to extensive renovations.
