Description

Historic England state: "Farmhouse. Late C17. Timber framed, roughcast rendered. Plain tiled roof with red brick ridge stack. L-plan. One storey and attic. Two gable dormers. Three ground floor modern casements, the centre one probably on the site of the doorway to the baffle entry. Kitchen wing of similar date and materials. A gable end stack with two diagonally set shafts. One storey and attic. Two gabled dormers. Modern casements and doorway."

Consists of a main range of one storey with attic, framed and rough cast, with tiled roof; and a single-storey wing at right angles in similar materials; the whole forming an L. The internal chimney with L-shaped stack and the end chimney of the wing with a single diagonal flue may be original. The ceilings of the two main ground floor rooms are carried on cross beams.
