Lisa Frenz has a BA in Voice Performance from the Conservatory of Music, University of the Pacific, Stockton, California. She never thought to end up as choir director/music director at a church, but she did that for over 30 years. In the process she also wrote a few songs for her choir and as solo or congregational pieces. While she has performed in musicals and operettas her favorite musical form is song: jazz, blues, folk, pop, as well as classical and even occasionally, rock. During the week, she works at Lewis & Clark Law School in their Text & Image Production Services department, supporting staff and faculty with graphic design, word processing, data base management, etc.Lisa also started writing litanies, prayers and liturgies in the 1980's. She actually was the first outside writer for Creative Communications for the Parish. She published with them for almost ten years and continues to write, looking for new and unique ways to express her faith in a community setting.
