2 cups Baking Mix
4 tablespoons cold butter cut into pieces
3/4 to 1 cup buttermilk
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Cut butter into Baking Mix until it resembles coarse crumb. Make a well in the center and add the buttermilk all at once; stir just until a soft dough forms. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently 8 to 10 times. Pat or roll dough out to 3/4-inch thickness. Cut out biscuits and place onto an ungreased baking sheet. Gently push the dough back together and keep cutting out biscuits until all the dough has been used.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve hot with butter.
