New Bridge Installation Brings Residents Closer Together

Thanks to Kinney Village volunteers, the bridge work between Phase II and Phase I is nearing completion. The bridge was approved at the Board Meeting on 12/11/17 to provide a safer access to residents walking between the two Phases. This will prevent residents from having to walk through a wash, which can be hazardous, particularly during the monsoon and rattlesnake season. The actual bridge work has been completed by our maintenance man, Ed. However, had it not been for volunteers shoveling and filling in from the bridge to the pathways it would not have been done in a timely manner. In addition to the extra stones being placed

on the pathway, lights will also be placed along the pathway to increase safety. Terry Jorgensen led the charge, with the assistance of Chester Jackson, to coordinate the project.
