Operating for approximately twelve hours, K7UAZ made a total of 36 QSOs with a total score of ? (TBD once 2025 field day results are published in QST magazine).
We were working stations in the Shack (Old Engineering, Room 303). We had three stations running off commercial power from the building; we were “3 Delta in Arizona!”. We had a few members make a contact for the first time: Mason and Brian. Our faculty advisor, Dr. Kathleen Melde, also made her first contact! All in all, considering the quick change of plans, Field Day was a success! We enjoyed Canes Saturday evening and had donuts and hot chocolate for breakfast the next morning. Thanks to Jeff (K2VNT), Greg (N9GL), Gary (A1FV), and Curt (K7ZOO) for being guides to student members in not just setting up the stations but on how to make proper contacts over the air. We had a total of 12 operators. When available, a link will be provided to the ARRL results site for further details.
