HRE 495 - Capstone Course

HRE 495 is the Capstone Course for the M.Ed. program. In this course, students must put together all the information from the prior eight courses. This is done through completing the ePortfolio begun in the first course, completing a reflective synthesis paper, and completing a final project. In this case, the final project is development of an introductory course for new employees at my local office (National Weather Service in Huntsville) on Basic Operational Hydrology.

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to:

• Complete a major project that requires you to apply the knowledge and skills learned throughout the program.
• Complete a reflective synthesis paper that summarizes and connects the major theories, concepts, and applications learned throughout the program.
