HPE TW-TC - AP 配件更新

In addition to the two new AP accessories I covered in a previous message (copied below), I’d like to share some info about the Universal AP mount kit for Campus Access Points, which we launched today.

This new flexible mount kit is offered as an alternative for the current optimized mounts (Types A, B, C, D, E), supporting all of the mount scenarios offered by those kits but in a single kit.

For customers who are uncertain about how each AP will be mounted, or if they do not want to bother determining the split between mount scenarios, this kit is a good option.

The universal mount kit is offered as a 10-pack only (S0J40A), and is a bit more expensive than the optimized ones (WW list price is set at $495 for the 10-pack).

The new kit is expected to start shipping towards the end of this month, or early June. The Installation Guide is attached.

S0J39A (or AP-MNT-MP10-AP for those that miss the legacy Aruba part numbers) is a pack of 10 spare mount braces for our Campus APs.
This is a spare for the piece that’s (supposedly permanently..) attached to the back of most recent Campus APs (500/510/530/550/610/630/650 Series; NOT the new AP-503 which uses plastic mount clips).
For some reason these braces sometimes appear to get lost, and there’s only some many I can ship out to partners and customers to help them out.
Those customers now have an option to order the missing parts. As mentioned, 10-packs only. The kit includes 20 screws as well.

S0J41A (AP-500H-MNTD2) is a new desk mount stand that will over time replace the current R3V60A (AP-500H-MNTD) which will eventually go EOS.
The new desk mount looks very similar to the current one and is compatible with the same AP models (AP-503H and AP-505H), but has one big advantage: it incorporates an RJ45 Ethernet port in the back of the foot of the mount.
This port allows access to the E0 uplink port of the AP without removing it from the mount. When attaching the mount to the AP, just insert the short (CAT6) jumper cable into the E0 port of the AP, and E0 is now accessible from the mount.
This new mount will also be phased into the “RAP bundles” (AP-503HR and AP-505HR), allowing us to install and secure the mount to the AP before boxing it up and shipping it out. No need to assemble anything in the field anymore!
