IAP-Mesh Setting
在現實生活中有很多情況..兩端網路是不允許拉網路線到另外一邊去的.. 比方說同公司在兩棟大樓間...中間隔著馬路...或是船艦靠港的時候..透過無線MESH 讓船艦上的系統與路上基地同步...
使用ARUBA IAP當作MESH 使用時 請注意..下列幾點.. 設定完畢後 AP需要重開機好幾次...

1.請注意 要使用相同版本的 韌體 .....第一顆開啟的AP為 Master ...
可以各別更新後Cluster 在一起 或是... Cluster 在一起後 更新韌體.... 802.11ac 新款AP 一定要更新韌體才能支援..

2.實際使用上不超過 2 nodes(Point>Point> Portal)
3.把兩部AP 開啟透過相同一部交換器或相同VLAN下...AP會自動變成 Cluster 模式 (Virtual controller)
4.把AP上面的 Extended SSID 功能關閉,因為此功能開啟的情況下 MESH無法啟動 System=>General=>Show advance option=>選Extended SSID .. Disable
重開AP...請注意 重開AP 前 請務必等待 設定同步...
5.創建MESH 用的SSID ... 請注意一定要使用 AES 加密模式..
6.把其中一顆AP 要拿到遠端...先不接網路線...這樣這顆AP 會直接變 MESH Point .... 有接線的那顆 會變成 MESH Portal..
7.Remote 那顆AP 接電後(在無線訊號涵蓋的到的範圍內) 理論上會自動加入 Mesh... 此時 請 先測試遠端是否無線 SSID 可以連線正常取得IP
8.然後登入 Master AP 修改 第二顆AP設定直.. 把 第二顆AP的 LAN 啟用 Bridging ... 設定好後請重啟Remote 的那顆AP.
9.重新開啟後會發現 MESH建起來 設定也對。。可是Mesh point 上面的LAN 無法啟動
8.請登入 Master AP(Virtual Controller).選 右上方 MoreèWiredèDefault_Wire_port_profile èEdit è Admin status èupè Next 其餘用內定值就好…套用後 就可以發現 Mesh Point LAN Port啟動
10. 設定正常的話 可以在下方看到 MESH Point 端的設備IP….

Setting up Instant Mesh Network Starting from Instant 6.4.0.2-4.1 release, mesh functionality is disabled by default, because of which over-theair provisioning of mesh IAPs is not supported. To provision IAPs as mesh IAPs:
1. Connect the IAPs to a wired switch.
2. Ensure that the Virtual Controller key is synchronized and the country code is configured.
3. Ensure that a valid SSID is configured on the IAP.
4. If the IAP has a factory default SSID (instant SSID), delete the SSID.
5. If an extended SSID is enabled on the virtual controller, disable it and reboot the IAP cluster.
6. Disconnect the IAPs that you want to deploy as mesh points from the switch and place the IAPs at a remote location. The IAPs power on without any wired uplink connection and function as mesh points and the IAPs with valid uplink connections function as the mesh portal.
