控制器可以跟外部RADIUS / AD Server 整合。如果認證帳號使用外部RADIUS /AD Server.基本上沒有使用人數限制。如果 帳號建立在Local 控制器上面 。就有使用帳號限制。MSM 710 本機可以建立 500個local帳號。MSM760/765 可以建立2000個Local 帳號。這些帳號主要是給訪客使用。

Options are available for integrating the controller directly to the external Active Directory. Does this means that the RADIUS server is not required or that we use the E-MSM controller’s in-built RADIUS server? Is there a limit on the number of users that this approach can support?

The controller allows three ways to authenticate a user:

1. Local/Built-in RADIUS server: limit of 500 users on E-MSM710, and 2000 users on E-MSM76x.
2. External RADIUS server authentication: no limit imposed by E-MSM controller on number of users.
3. External Active Directory authentication: no limit imposed by E-MSM controller on number of users.
