簡單來說
Root Alarm 主要出現在 IMC 主機/ 核心交換器(或是網路拓墣中心的交換器)/無線控制器上面….
一但影響到….就會造成比較多設備同時失連..
The received alarms are sorted by groups. You can browse all the alarm information of the system. By default, unrecovered alarms are displayed. The root alarm list provides the following information about the received alarms:
By default, the alarms are sorted by date. You can also view the alarm information in groups sorted by column names. You can also view relation alarms and the relation report.
Operation Procedure
1. Click the Alarm tab, and then select Root Alarms in the navigation tree. The Root Alarms page appears.
2. You can perform the following operations on the Root Alarms page:
· Click any column heading in the table to sort the alarms in ascending or descending sequence, or select the items you want to view in the drop-down list.
· Query alarms: Click Query, and then set the query criteria by:
§ Alarm time
§ Device IP
§ Alarm level
§ Alarm type
§ Recovery status
§ Acknowledgement status
· Display relation alarms: Right-click a specific alarm and then click Show Relation Alarms. The root alarm tree of the alarm is displayed showing the relationship between the alarm and other relation alarms.
· Display the relation report: Right-click a specific alarm and then click Show Relation Report. the alarm information and affected devices are displayed in a report for you to locate the root cause quickly.
· Recover an alarm: Select one or multiple alarms, and click Recover. To recover the selected alarms, select Recover selected alarms. To recover the selected alarms and child alarms, select Recover all child alarms.
· Acknowledge an alarm: Select one or multiple alarms, and click Ack. To acknowledge the selected alarms, select Acknowledge selected alarms. To recover the selected alarms and child alarms, select Acknowledge all child alarms.
· Delete one or multiple alarms: Select one or multiple alarms, and click Delete. To delete the selected alarms, select Delete selected alarms. To delete the selected alarms and child alarms, select Delete all child alarms.
· Display all alarms or root alarms only: To display all alarms, click Show All Alarms. To display root alarms only, click Show Root Alarms Only.
Precautions
If you sort the alarms by a column, the corresponding column heading is not displayed by default.
