Write Your Life Story

This page gives you a tool that you can use to make writing your life story for your children and grandchildren as easy as it could ever be.  All you have to do is to cut and paste the questions provided below into your preferred wordprocessor and start writing out your answers to the questions.  Answering just 10 or 12 questions a month will get you finished in one year.

Your family would probably appreciate very much your writing your life story to leave for the children and grandchildren.  I wrote mine that consisted of just over 100 printed pages.  So far I've gotten nothing but appreciation from my family.  You will too.

It is much easier to do using this template of questions.  There are 10 or 12 questions for each of 12 months.  That makes it very easy to complete a personal history or biography in a year.  All you have to do is download the questions into your Microsoft Word program and start answering them.  How detailed you wish to be is entirely up to you.  The questions really do help in recalling things that might otherwise be overlooked.

You don't have to be a slave to the questions.  Modify them as appropriate to your particular situation.  I did.  Using the questions provided increases the likelihood that you'll finish with a product that will provide good coverage of your life and will be something that will be treasured by your family for generations.

Feel free to use or modify the questions to better fit your own life and experiences.  I hope you'll do it and, I wish you well in your effort.  The return in blessings for your family will be worth many times over the cost in your labor doing it.  Just cut and paste these questions into your wordprocessor and begin typing in your answers.  Before long you'll have a valuable personal history to leave for your children and grandchildren.
