Extra Credit Opportunities are out-of-school opportunities to attend events, exhibits, celebrations connected to Latin@s and the Spanish-speaking world. They are free [with very rare exceptions] and regularly updated on the class website. If you know of one, please share! After attending the event, respond to the online question prompts in thorough, vibrant paragraphs to receive 1pt added to your final grade for the quarter – up to three per term!
Events are regularly updated on the website, and if you know of one in which other students would be interested, please email me the information (rgood@bostonpublicschools.org) and I will upload it!
Don't see an event coming up? Search for "latin events this week" or check out https://www.eventbrite.com/d/ma--boston/latino/ and see if there is one in which you are interested, then email me the information to get the okay to attend and record your experience for extra credit :) Events should be free or very inexpensive to attend.
