Arte y Comunidad con Edgardo Larregui October 1 at 5:00 pm–6:30 pm at IBA in the South End. This arts workshop for youth will focus on social issues that affect the community directly such as territorial confrontations, drug abuse and the importance of education.
For extra credit, respond to these questions in detailed, vibrant paragraphs: 1)Why did you chose to attend this event? How can art address social issues that affect the community? 2) Speak with someone from IBA. Identify yourself and why you are there. Record their name, what they do at IBA, and how their [Latin@] identify affects their experience of the world. In your own words, what is IBA (Who is it for, what do they do, how can you get involved?) 3)What did you see/feel/experience at the event? Who attended? Who presented?
