Smith&Morehouse

There are two forest service campgrounds near this pretty lake called Smith and Morehouse Reservoir. The better campground is just past the reservoir and is called Ledgefork. The camping fee at both site is $21.
The season is 5/22 through 10/18. But I visited there 10/25/14 and the lower campground called Smith and Morehouse was closed and Ledgefork was open with no one camping there.
Two get there you get to Oakley and turn east on Weber Canyon Road for about 12 miles and the road kind of ends where you turn right on a dirt road to Smith and Morehouse.
The campgrounds are reservable through the following web sites up through 9/7 and it's first come first serve after that.
Ledgefork
Some of the better sites for tents that we saw were 4,10,26 & 30. Sites 4,10,& 30 were by the river. Here is a photo of campground 4:
