Before doing an eagle project you need to fill out part of the latest eagle project work book and get 4 different signatures.

After you have completed your project finish filling out the work book and get the final signatures. Then go to https://filestore.scouting.org/filestore/pdf/512-728_WB_Fillable.pdf to print out the eagle application. Fill it out and take or send it to the council office. They will check it over and send it back to the zone advancement chairman who will set up a board of review. After the board of review, the zone advancement chairman will send the application back to the council office and they will send it to national who will approve it and send it back to the council office and notify you that your eagle award is ready to pick up.

Best Bet: The best bet for Eagle projects is https://www.justserve.org/ . Use the advanced search option to select Groups and for All ages. This changes almost daily so check back often.

Second Best Bet: Here is a web site for youth service opportunities in Utah: http://youthlinc.org/localservicedirectory/ Click on opportunities at the top. If you don't find anything you can click on Organizations at the top and just call some and see if they have anything coming up.

Third best bet: Schools. Check with the principal of the school that you go to and nearby elementary schools.

Fourth best bet: You can always collect items. On the Just Serve web site there are listings to collect old bikes, food, baby items etc. Or you can come up with your own collections ideas. For example, nursing homes, retirement homes and jails can usually use old books, magazines and movies.
