Claire talks about the fact she didnt realize it was going to be so difficult being tied up. She says ' I came in one day and they tied me up'. "The next day I was tied up again". The third day I was again tied". "This went on for like 6 days'.

SWP: I thought it was a really understated, brave role. How do you prepare for a role like this where virtually you’re a victim throughout the entire film?

CK: Well, ENDURE was an interesting role. Obviously I knew coming in that it was going to be little dialogue if any. Believe it or not, it wasn’t that hard to prepare for that role. I’ve never been kidnapped. I’ve never been tied up in the woods or tortured. I just mentally had to put myself in a place and that was a role that required a lot of imagination. Of course the creepy scenery and all that stuff really helped but it was also a role that I didn’t want my daughter who I had with me in Florida coming to the set or anything. I had to tell her “I’ll be in a dark place and I need to be by myself when I go there.” Actually I tried to avoid preparing for that role because I didn’t want to have any expectations of my own performance. I just wanted it to be just real and raw. I’m glad that you liked it.
