TV Series Arrow "Broken Doll"

Q: Is it actually creepy and scary to film yourself being killed and turned into a human doll? I know there may be plenty of laughs and stuff on set but you're still playing a character in some really creepy situation.

A: Oh, It was extremely creepy. That tube hurt to hold in my mouth and my arms were ACTUALLY strapped down and I couldnt move my head. I was completely helpless until the props guys untied me!

Q: Sounds uncomfortable. How long did filming take?

A: I was on set for about 3 days. that one scene only took about an hour and a half!

Q: Lol.... only an hour and half...

Hour and a half for a few minutes of footage. Jeeze Hollywood is inefficient.

A: Retakes, director wants lighting redone, or adjusted. Maybe sound fucked up, the villain got his lines wrong, there are lots of things that could go wrong for a few minutes of footage.

So it's not really inefficiency. I'd be more worried if it only took 10-15 minutes per scene.
