Bake large head of garlic:
Slice off head to expose garlics
Drizzle with olive oil
Wrap in foil
Cook at 350 for 40 minutes
Cool, then squeeze garlic out
To make garlic mashed potatoes:
Boil 2 lb. of potatoes until tender
Add the head of garlic you baked
1/4 sour cream
4 T. butter
milk or cream (or half n half)
Salt and pepper
Mash potatoes (or use mixer) with ingredients -- and enjoy! No gravy necessary.
